Car Builders VB–VK Commodore Insulation Packs

Choose from four tailored packs to suit your level of restoration or upgrade. Each pack is designed to fit VB, VC, VH and VK Commodore sedans, compatible with both automatic and manual transmissions.

 

Pack 1: Pre-Cut Carpet Underlay and Firewall Pack 

Ideal for: Customers who have already applied sound dampening sheet to their floorpan and are simply upgrading their under-carpet and firewall insulation.

Includes:

• Mass Noise Liner (MNL) – 3 x sheets pre-cut (approx. 4.56 sq/m)

Details:

•  This Stage 2 product sits under your carpet, providing both sound and heat insulation across the floor pan.

Note: Does not include Stage 1 Sound Deadener. This pack is designed for those focusing on thermal and noise reduction, but not full soundproofing.

 

Pack 2: Floorpan and Firewall Pack

Ideal for: Customers who want to treat their firewall and floorpan with both Stage 1 Sound Deadener and the premium Mass Noise Liner for enhanced performance.

Includes:

• Stage 1 Sound Deadener – 3 x boxes (approx. 5.4 sq/m)

• Mass Noise Liner – 3 x sheets pre-cut (approx. 4.56 sq/m)

• Sound Deadener Install Kit – Includes Application Roller, Aluminium Foil Tape, and Utility Knife

Details:

• Apply Stage 1 Sound Deadener directly to the floor pan and firewall.

• Follow with Mass Noise Liner as a second layer under your carpet for effective noise and heat insulation.

 

Pack 3: Floorpan, Firewall, and Doors Pack

Ideal for: Customers who need to treat their floor, firewall, and doors with Stage 1 Sound Deadener, and add Mass Noise Liner for additional insulation.

Includes:

• Stage 1 Sound Deadener – 4 x boxes (approx. 7.2 sq/m)

• Mass Noise Liner – 3 x sheets pre-cut (approx. 4.56 sq/m)

• Door Restore Kit – 2 x kits (includes OE-spec plastic and adhesive sealant)

• Sound Deadener Install Kit – Includes Application Roller, Aluminium Foil Tape, and Utility Knife

Details:

• Use Stage 1 on the floor, lower firewall, and inside the door cavities.

• Mass Noise Liner offers enhanced under-carpet insulation.

• Door Restore Kits help seal and protect both front and rear doors against moisture and distortion.

 

Pack 4: Floorpan, Firewall, Roof, and Doors Pack

Ideal for: Full interior builds or restorations, providing comprehensive coverage for the entire vehicle.

Includes:

• Stage 1 Sound Deadener – 5 x boxes (approx. 9 sq/m)

• Mass Noise Liner – 3 x sheets pre-cut (approx. 4.56 sq/m)

• Door Restore Kit – 2 x kits

• Insul-Layer (6mm) – 2 x sheets (approx. 1.8 sq/m)

• Sound Deadener Install Kit – Includes Application Roller, Aluminium Foil Tape, and Utility Knife

Details:

• Stage 1 Sound Deadener covers the floor pan, firewall, doors, and roof for complete soundproofing.

• Mass Noise Liner provides thermal and acoustic insulation beneath the carpet.

• Door Restore Kits seal both front doors.

• Insul-Layer (6mm) is ideal for insulating the roof.

 

Notes on Application:

• Stage 1 Sound Deadener comes in 300mm x 500mm tiles and needs to be trimmed during installation to fit your vehicle.

• Mass Noise Liner sheets are pre-cut to suit VB–VH sedan floor pans.
