Q. I have sprayed stone guard on my floor pan will, Stage 1 Sound Deadener stick to the textured surface.
A. Depending on the type of under body stone guard used will depend, some underbody coatings are a waxy rubber like material which nothing will adhere to. A method to test adhesion is to get some masking tape and if it adhears our peel and stick products will have no problems sticking.
If you have used a rubber like underbody spray it may be possible to seal it by painting over it with a 2k or acrylic paint. This will seal it so our peel and stick products successfully adhere to a painted surface. We recommend checking the technical data or with the paint supplier to determine if this is possible with the product you used.
